Cranfield, UK: Wireless geo-location technology company Briteyellow is thrilled to announce that it has won a Global Tech Pioneer Award in China.
The company is a leader in the field of indoor positioning, navigation, wayfinding, and tracking in large indoor spaces, where GPS does not work.
But that is only the tip of the iceberg for Briteyellow which has created a cloud-based solution that is leading edge, cost effective and available bespoke to marketing and operation managers or urban planners who need better wayfinding, movement tracking, engagement, or insight into people behaviour or asset usage in GPS-denied places.
Briteyellow chief executive Fredi Nonyelu said: “We are thrilled to be named a winner of the Global Tech Pioneer Award for ICT at the Convention for Exchange of Overseas Talents in Guanzhou.
“Our solutions were extremely well received during recent visits to Japan and China where the operators of large indoor spaces are very receptive to the proven potential of our platforms.”
Fredi added that the scale of cities in China, and indoor spaces such as railway stations, airports, public museums, corporate buildings is simply immense.
“Our smart solutions are well received in China because they immediately see how they can solve all sorts of issues for huge conurbations, making them much more seamless smart cities through better transport, navigation and wayfinding data.
“We provide a way of making sense of all that data, aiding better design and customer experiences.”
The 2018 Convention on Exchange of Overseas Talents (CEOT) and the 20th Guangzhou Convention of Overseas Chinese Scholars in Science and Technology was hosted in Guangzhou from December 21 to 22.
The number of participants in this conference was a whopping 50,000, including about 3,500 overseas talents consisting of Nobel Prize winners, academicians, well-known experts, high-level talents from high-tech enterprises, scientific research institutions and famous companies, core R&D personnel and patent holders from overseas innovation teams.
